KIDS PROGRAM
Bas-I-Kyokushin offers a unique and challenging experience to young children. Hanshi Newton James has over 40 years of experience teaching children, and is able to create an environment where children enjoy their participation in class, while learning countless life skills. Hanshi James' childrens program was created specifically to reach out to today's youth: our children are faced with many serious issues--some that no other generation has had to face. He felt a unique training system that responded to these challenges was necessary, and has developed a program that addresses the physical, emotional, and mental requirements of today's kids. His program is able to take children where they are; and, through a gradual learning process, help them to focus, to be disciplined, to be better decision makers, and to take responsibility for their actions. Children learn how to better face the challenges in their world, and to deal with the issues of life.
Bas-I/Kyokushin's unique program offers safe, fun, and educational training to students from all walks of life. Physical training as well as mental training and meditation is stressed, along with teaching that students have a personal ownership and responsibility for their actions in life. Many parents and teachers note their children arrived at the program with fear and anxiety about their situations; and, once on their way through the Bas-I system, began to show more confidence, better focus and discipline in school, and were able to communicate better with their classmates and family members.
Please come observe or attend a free trial class to experience this wonderful program.
